3D prototyping using FDM and SLA processes
Your idea becomes tangible right at the start of the project. To achieve this, we simply print the 3D data on one of our two 3D printers. We use the following processes for this: FDM process The base material is melted in the 3D printer's extruder and solidified on the print bed in the defined structure. The print bed moves downwards to allow for layer-by-layer application. The raw material is in spool form. SLA process A liquid resin is applied piece by piece on a print plate. This plate moves continuously upwards out of the resin. A laser is used to selectively cure the resin, which then adheres to the previous layer. Subsequently, the parts are further cured in an oven.

Frequently Asked Questions to this service
Which 3D printing processes does KTR use?
KTR erstellt 3D-Prototypen mit FDM- und SLA-Verfahren. Ausgangspunkt für den Druck sind die 3D-Daten des Bauteils.
What are 3D samples suitable for in product development?
A 3D model makes a product idea tangible right at the beginning of a project. KTR uses these models as support during the development of plastic parts.
